STARGAZING What the stars have in store for you.
one of the world’s top astrologers, writes a weekly forecast for Friday
TAURUS APRIL 19 – MAY 19
It’s easy to forget that a vital part of planning for the future involves reviewing elements of the past. That’s not only timely, with the Taurus New Moon on the 11th, triggering breakthroughs, possibly beyond anything you’d imagined possible, the more unrewarding if not burdensome elements of your life you shed now, the better prepared you’ll be to take decisive action then.
GEMINI MAY 20 – JUNE 20
While some obstacles offer vital lessons, many are a nuisance or, in fact, aren’t your problem. The challenge? Discerning one from the other, a process that can be frustratingly slow. Yet, that’s your main focus this week. Once you realise how much you’re learning, instead of rushing things, you’ll concentrate on, and learn, from each, then move onto whatever is next, but with unexpected gratitude.
CANCER JUNE 21 – JULY 21
The combination of inspiring but unsettling ideas and sudden changes you and others are facing is challenging, and has also led to a grumpy mood. Bizarrely, events are also slowing the pace. This is helpful. Tempting as it is to focus on finding solutions for difficulties, take a break. This won’t just restore your energy, and will improve your perspective, in ways as timely as they are reassuring.
LEO JULY 22 – AUGUST 21
Initially you may question, or even ignore, changes in a range of situations. It’s out of character, but go with the flow. The foundation on which many arrangements are based is shifting, which means you’re shedding restrictive, if familiar, habits and, better yet, exploring new ones. The challenge? Things won’t come together swiftly enough to satisfy your Leo impatience. Still, it will be worth the wait.
VIRGO AUGUST 22 – SEPTEMBER 21
For weeks you’ve been considering potential changes in your work, lifestyle or both. And you’ve been exploring options, enough you’re nearing a plan. Discuss this. Note, however, with your ruler Mercury moving to accent these matters on Tuesday and the fortunate Jupiter shifting its position next week, both your ideas and options themselves will change, often in ways as miraculous as they are unexpected.
LIBRA SEPTEMBER 22 – OCTOBER 22
At the time of the Libra Full Moon, just over a month ago, you made seemingly solid decisions. Since then, both circumstances and your priorities have changed. This process continues. Note, however, the coming weeks’ amazing planetary activity indicates there’ll soon be breakthroughs. Knowing that, focus on decluttering your life and passions. And, even more, prepare for ideas and offers as thrilling as they are unexpected.
SCORPIO OCTOBER 23 – NOVEMBER 21
While the Scorpio Full Moon was on 27 April, you’re probably still reviewing shifts in both circumstances and your feelings it triggered. While some changes are clear cut, others remain unsettling. However, with the foundation on which they’re based also shifting, that’s as it should be. Tempting as it is to make far-reaching plans, for now follow the philosophical ideal of living one day at a time.
SAGITTARIUS NOVEMBER 22 – DECEMBER 20
As a restless fire sign, experience is your best teacher. Remember this as you face the current series of exciting, if unexpected, changes. What’s more, while your ruler Jupiter has been accenting your ideas and perspective, on the 13th it moves to focus on the structure of your life (*), then moves again in late July. The secret? the recognition that planning isn’t as important as living each day joyously.
CAPRICORN DECEMBER 21 – JANUARY 18
Judging by the changes you’re facing, discussions about what’s coming to an end could devour your time. However, you’re happier if you know what you’re dealing with, even if it’s challenging. The real challenge?
It’s you can’t rush things. Instead, declutter your life of pointless arrangements and plans. This won’t just lighten your burden, lessons from the past will come in handy, probably within days.
AQUARIUS JANUARY 19 – FEBRUARY 18
With the foundation on which plans are based shifting, changes are inevitable. Acknowledge that, and instead of reorganising things to suit you, you’ll explore. Even if this doesn’t work, you’ll still benefit. This also frees you to broaden your horizons in amazing and often unexpected ways. If you must make long term plans, regard them as intriguing ideas, not arrangements meant to last.
PISCES FEBRUARY 18 – MARCH 19
In the past, you’ve often got caught up in others’ dramas, wasting your own time. Unless you’re careful, that could happen again. With changes swirling though everybody’s life, including yours, the objective isn’t making a single, long-term, plan. It’s about spotting, and eliminating, what doesn’t work and exploring a range of appealing options, no more. Lasting decisions? They can and should wait.
ARIES MARCH 20 – APRIL 18
For ages you’ve been putting off certain matters involving your domestic or family life. The problem? They’re so complex you fear they’ll devour your time. Now that your ruler Mars has moved to accent these, things are considerably more pressing. Fortunately, so is your willingness to listen to what others have to say. While this can’t be rushed, your patience will be handsomely rewarded.
