PATTERNS FOR ALL
Multi-disciplinary artist Navjot Altaf is known to tackle critical issues like climate change, ecology, feminism, and the challenges of the digital age through her work. Make your way to Alserkal Avenue's Ishara Art Foundation from September 14 to December 9 to explore Pattern, the creator's first solo exhibition in the region, highlighting the causes she cares deeply about. This collection focuses on the complex relationship between human exploitation and the current environmental crises. You will get a chance to view pieces that Altaf has been working on since 2015, the year of the United Nations Climate Change Conference and the Paris Climate Accords. While here, you can also have a look at her new two-volume book – Navjot at Work and Artist's Notes, which include texts commissioned by Zasha Cola. For more details, visit ishara.org.
