BESAN LADDOO
INGREDIENTS
2 cups chickpea flour 1 cup powdered sugar 1 cup clarified butter Grated coconut, for garnishing
METHOD
Mix chickpea flour and clarified butter in a kadhai (wok) and cook over low heat. Stir constantly to avoid mixture forming lumps. Remove from heat when mixture releases an appetising smell. Allow the mixture to cool before adding sugar to the flour and mixing it thoroughly. Using your hands, form ping-pong sized balls of the mixture. Serve. For added flavour, you can also garnish the ladoos with grated coconut.
