CLASSIC BEEF BURGERS
PREP TIME 10 MINS PLUS REFRIGERATION TIME | COOKING TIME 15 MINS | SERVES 4
INGREDIENTS
500g minced lean beef
1 small brown onion, finely chopped 2 tbsp finely chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
1 clove garlic, crushed
4 medium buns
4 small butter lettuce leaves Tomato sauce, as required
4 slices Cheddar cheese 1 medium tomato, thinly sliced
METHOD
Mix beef with onion, parsley and garlic in a medium bowl; season. Shape mixture into 4 patties; cover, refrigerate for 15 mins or until firm. Heat an oiled large frying pan over medium heat; cook patties for 5 mins each side or until cooked through. Meanwhile, halve and toast buns. Sandwich buns with lettuce, patties, sauce, cheese and tomato.
