SALAMA AL SHAMSI

Salama Al Shamsi has been appointed as director of Abu Dhabi’s Qasr Al Hosn, which reopened in December as a museum commemorating the history of the oldest standing structure in the emirate, and the city’s development around it. The project is part of DCT Abu Dhabi, which Al Shamsi joined in 2009. She was formerly senior project manager of the Zayed National Museum before joining the Qasr Al Hosn team. She will also have the National Consultative Council and the House of Artisans under her directorship.
