Agni-III ballistic missile test today


Nine months after the first attempt failed, India will today again test fire the indigenous­ly developed nuclear capable Agni-III ballistic missile that can hit targets as far as in China. “The exact time will depend on weather conditions and other factors,” an official said, speaking on condition of anonymity. “We are keeping our fingers crossed. We hope the test will proceed smoothly,” the official added. The test of the 3,500km-range missile will be held at the Integrated Test Range off Orissa coast.
