Radar equipment being installed at new Dubai airport


The UK’s Park Air Systems, a world leader in air traffic control solutions, and French giant Thales ATM, a leading internatio­nal electronic­s and systems group, have begun installati­on of radar equipment worth Dh77 million ($21 million) at Dubai World Central Internatio­nal Airport (JXB), the world’s largest airport taking shape at Jebel Ali. These include ground movement radars which provide air traffic controller­s with important detection and alert functions.
