STAR GAZING

-

World-renowned astrologer Shelley von Strunckel writes a daily column exclusively for tabloid! Aries (March 20 – April 18) Waste no time arguing about minor details. True, one particular individual isn’t just obsessed about these, they’re insisting if these are incorrect then much else is bound to go wrong as well. What they don’t realise is that, should those problems arise, they can easily be dealt with at the time. Taurus (April 19 – May 19) Facts may be facts. But over the past couple of weeks there were many times when you wondered if certain individuals were making things up as they proceeded. Much as it might have seemed so, these errors were typical of Mercury’s retrograde cycle. While it ends today, expect a few more glitches. Gemini (May 20 – June 19) There’s a powerful emphasis on the portion of your chart that involves the way you look at life and your future plans. What comes to light now could substantially influence your attitude. This is particularly important since, with pivotal opportunities coming your way, inevitably your perspective will shape your plans. Cancer (June 20 – July 21) After a rather tricky period that’s required maximum tact for minimum return, things are about to get a lot easier. In fact, with Venus, planet of charm, selfesteem and money, moving into your sign, you should find it a great deal easier to deal with those matters that were, just recently, so tricky. Leo (July 22 – August 21) It was challenging. But during the three weeks Mercury’s been retrograde in Leo, you’ll not only have coped with the minor errors typical of this cycle, many will have been personally illuminating. Now that it’s going direct, you’ll realise that even more of those unexpected twists weren’t just interesting but were amazingly informative. Virgo (August 22 – September 21) By no means are you rigid in your thinking or your habits. Yet there are certain arrangements you strongly prefer to keep as they are, despite others’ comments and requests. At least discuss what’s being suggested. At minimum, you’ll learn something. But you might even be won over to their ideas. Libra (September 22 – October 22) Logic can be a wonderful ally. But with your ruler Venus superbly aspecting the planet of inspiration and intuition, Neptune, what your instincts tell you could be far more worthwhile than facts that are straightforward but are lacking excitement. Certainly you’ll be glad you heeded what your feelings suggest over the obvious. Scorpio (October 23 – November 20) Now that Mercury is no longer retrograde in the heavens, you’d expect matters here on earth to go more smoothly. But it’s more complicated, especially since it’s bound to take a day or two to untangle the confusion so common to this cycle. Bizarrely, what you learn should more than justify any inconvenience. Sagittarius (November 21 – December 20) Escaping certain tedious rules and regulations is a relief. However much of a nuisance these are, in fulfilling their requirements you’re also being forced to deal with facts, figures and practical matters that you’d otherwise ignore. Besides, if you tackle these now, you’ll be prepared when things tighten up next week. Capricorn (December 21 – January 19) When things go well, you’re happy. But when they go too well, you sometimes worry that you’ve missed details that could complicate matters. While often that’s true, now not only are things just as good as they seem, the surprising developments coming your way are exactly what’s needed by the situation in question. Aquarius (January 20 – February 18) Common sense may dictate that you’re right to battle certain changes. However, judging by the coming weeks’ potent aspects to your ruler Uranus, you have little choice in the matter. Dire as that sounds now, once you learn more, you’ll realise that those changes you’ve been so dreading are exactly what’s needed. Pisces (February 19 – March 19) Certain misunderstandings have been so persistent you wondered if there was something more to them. While Mercury’s retrograde cycle, which has just concluded, is best known for minor errors, those mistakes can be revealing. And one appears to have explained the source and solution for those issues.
