One school improves

-

One of the three Pakistani curriculum schools in Dubai, improved their ranking, going from unsatisfactory to acceptable. Last year, all three schools were unsatisfactory. The Pakistan Education Academy School which accounts for 42 per cent of students in Pakistani schools in Dubai was the only school that managed to improve. The other two, His Highness Shaikh Rashid Al Maktoum Pakistani School and Al Farooq Pakistani Islamic School, remained unsatisfactory. The concerns and expectations of parents and students were also voiced in the report. Parents were particularly interested in seeing improvement in the teaching of English and desire to see teachers to talk to their children in English, especially kindergarten students. Students said they wanted to see the quality of teachers and teacher communication skills improve. They also want to see more educational field trips and better computer labs.
