Dhoni to launch his perfume in Dubai
Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni will be in Dubai tomorrow to launch his signature brand of perfume at the Madinat Jumeirah.
The exclusive line- up of fragrances developed by Dhoni and Beauty Contact will be called “7 by Dhoni” and are set to be unveiled at 7pm.
Dhoni will thus become the first cricketer to have a perfume launched in his name — joining the league of top sports stars like Roger Federer and Maria Sharapova, who have perfumes named after them.
Dhoni is the most sought - after cricketer for endorsements today. He is ranked as the 31st richest sportsman in the world with an earning estimated to be around $ 26.4 million ( Dh97 million). Out of his earnings $ 23 million is from endorsements and is way ahead of Sachin Tendulkar, who is ranked at No. 78 with an earning of $ 18.6 million.
