‘Nation’s march is full of useful lessons’
Hamdan and Maktoum express commitment to preserving achievements
Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince, and Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, issued statements on the occasion of National Day that were published by Dira’a Al
Watan magazine. Shaikh Hamdan said that the UAE’s march is full of useful lessons for the past and future. “On this day we renew our vow to our leaders that we will continue to meet their expectations and enhance our dedication to the nation in all our designations and specialisations to match the level of giving shown by martyrs,” Shaikh Hamdan said.
He extended his heartfelt congratulations on this occasion to Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the UAE, Crown Princes and the people of the UAE.
“I would to extend my warmest regards to the UAE Armed Forces, and I urge them as they battle alongside their brothers in the Arab Coalition to recover Yemen and its people and foil evil plans that threaten our region and its stability,” Shaikh Hamdan added.
‘Overwhelmed with pride’
Shaikh Maktoum said: “Today, as we celebrate our National Day, we thank God, first and foremost, and our leadership for the achievements we have accomplished for our nation and people. We are overwhelmed with pride with the UAE model and happiness with our achievements in the field of comprehensive development. Preserving our achievements and gains can only be accomplished by developing them.”
