Skulls, bones found off Spanish beach
Spanish police say they have found eight apparently human skulls, and other bones, in shallow waters just off a popular northeastern beach.
A Catalonia regional police spokeswoman said the bones were found half-buried some three metres out from Els Palangrers beach, close to the town of Roses, north of Barcelona.
She said a local snorkeler had discovered the bones on Sunday and notified police. The officer said police are investigating the identity of the bones.
