Secondary checks on Emirates prior to boarding

Passengers travelling to Germany with Emirates are facing secondary checks at Dubai International following an agreement between the airline and Germany’s Federal Police, the Bundespolizei.

Emirates yesterday said it has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Bundespolizei. Under the agreement, passengers travelling with Emirates to Frankfurt, Munich, Hamburg and Dusseldorf from Dubai are subject to “a secondary documentation screening check at the gate prior to boarding.”
