Jebel Ali Racecourse praises role of sponsors
Hosts appreciation gala to mark official finale to 2015-2016 racing season
have accomplished what we have during the past season, and since the racecourse was set-up in the early nineties. We appreciate each of our sponsors, well-wishers and racing fans.
The gala was well-attended by an array of dignitaries, sponsors, supporters, guests, volunteers, members, staff and media.
Shaikh Hamdan support
Much of the success is due to the support and commitment of the racecourse’s principal patron, Shaikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance.
Mirza Al Sayegh, the Director of Shaikh Hamdan’s Office, and who has been a key link between Shaikh Hamdan and the racecourse, also extend his appreciation to everyone involved.
“Shaikh Hamdan is grateful to our sponsors, racecourse management and staff, patrons and all racegoers who patronise our weekend races,” he said during his speech.
“Because of their involvement, Jebel Ali racing continues to be very successful.
“Shaikh Hamdan himself, has exciting plans for the future and has pledged to continue his support to racing at Jebel Ali Racecourse during the next season through Shadwell, his breeding operation.
“Thank you all again, and warmest wishes.”
