Celebrate heritage

Get to know Emirati culture and history this weekend at Al Ain Palace Museum, where they will be celebrating World Heritage Day with two days of activities — focusing on sports. Taking place today and tomorrow from 5-10pm, visitors can learn about the UAE’s traditional sports, including camel racing, falconry (kids can get hands-on training) and hunting with salukis. There’s also a traditional souk, selling sadu weaving, traditional tea and coffee pots, clothing and Emirati cuisine will be spread out in different locations in the museum. Call 03-7517755.
