Breakfast: Oats with almond milk

Cook oats and almond milk in a pot.

Pour in a jar or box that you can take with you if you do not have the time to eat in the morning.

Alternativ­ely, you could take the juice from the detox week, with you and drink it on the way to work.

Lunch: Layered salad Vegetables of your choice Leftover chicken or meat or prawns Lemon juice Layer them in a jar and eat at lunch time.

Dinner: Rice noodles with salad

If you are out at dinner time, that is, you work until 7, or 8, or 9pm in some cases, then it’s best to take a healthy meal with you.

The smartest thing would be to save some leftovers — noodles or rice and curry — and put it all in a jar along with some fresh vegetables for a healthy dinner option.

Boil some rice noodles, strain and put in a jar (can substitute noodles with red rice, wild rice, quinoa or wild rice noodles)

Add 1 tbs of balsamic vinegar to the jar.

Add some fresh vegetables — finely grated carrots, green onions, mushrooms — and leftover chicken or meat.

Add a half chopped mango (some people love fruits in their meals)

Add a touch of lime juice and a handful of crushed peanuts (if not allergic to nuts)

Top off with baby spinach or finely chopped kale for iron.
