Says Dubai spares no efforts to consolidate its position as a regional media hub
The UAE will continue to boost its capabilities by establishing a more appropriate environment that further supports businesses and attracts more investments and qualified personnel in line with the UAE’s vision 2021.
His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, made these remarks yesterday during a visit to Bloomberg regional headquarters at Dubai International Financial Centre where he met with Peter Grauer, Chairman of Bloomberg Inc.
Dubai is sparing no efforts to consolidate its position as a regional hub for media by forging partnerships with key media agencies in the world, providing its partners with state-of-the-art infrastructures, which suits their businesses, and creating a supportive atmosphere that encourages its partners for more innovation and excellence so as to offer media figures sufficient space to unleash their potentials, Shaikh Mohammad said.
He added: “We are always keen on enhancing dialogue with our partners, listening to their ideas and opinions, and improving an enabling environment that support their businesses and thus, bringing about mutual achievements.”
Speaking on the difficulties facing media in the world, Shaikh Mohammad pointed out that the media is currently facing complicated challenges.
