Coastal areas in for more rain

The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology forecast partly cloudy skies with probability of light rain over the islands and some northern areas today. Dubai experienced light showers in the afternoon yesterday while Ras Al Khaimah received light to moderate rain.

By tomorrow, forecasters expect the amount of cloud cover to increase over the islands and coastal areas with the possibility of rain until Sunday morning, especially over the western parts of the country. Scattered showers may continue until Monday.

Conditions in the Arabian Gulf are expected to be moderate to rough from today until tomorrow, intensifying through Monday. Light to moderate conditions will prevail in the Sea of Oman until Monday.
