Shops raided over expired food items

than 10 shopkeepers were arrested for selling substandard and expired food items and beverages during raids by the provincial food authority in different areas of Peshawar.

According to inspector Tasbeeh Ullah, raids were conducted in different areas of Peshawar, including Dalah Zak, Charsadda and at bus stands in the area.

More than 10 shopkeepers were arrested for selling expired and substandard food including contaminated salt, ghee, chips and drinks, officials said. (Online)
