Man jailed for fracturing TV producer’s arm

man has been jailed for three months for assaulting a television producer by pushing him inside a detention centre and breaking his arm. The 36-year-old Emirati man was mopping the floor at the detention centre of a police station when he pushed the Egyptian producer and caused him a fracture in his arm in September 2013.

The Dubai Court of First Instance convicted the defendant of assaulting the victim and causing him a 20 per cent permanent disability in his arm. (Staff Report)
