Fujairah law on government housing units

A

law that prohibits beneficiaries from mortgaging and transferring the ownership of government housing units and granted residential plots was issued in Fujairah yesterday.

Law No. 1 of 2017 also specifies the conditions for inheriting granted residential plots. An article in the law issued by His Highness Shaikh Hamad Bin Mohammad Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, also stipulates the responsibilities of government bodies in ensuring implementation of the law.
