ERC opens two schools in Pakistan
The
Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) opened two schools in Pakistan as part of the Year of Giving initiatives to strengthen the country’s capabilities in areas that have been hit by natural disasters in recent years.
The ERC opened a secondary school for girls consisting of 12 rooms, laboratories and health facilities in Miani Bandi, Muzaffarabad. It has computers and other teaching aids, and can accommodate 300 students.
In addition, a primary school was opened in the village of Bay Bala in Mansehra province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. (WAM)
