Verdict on Panama Papers case tomorrow

Supreme Court of Pakistan will announce tomorrow the much-awaited verdict in the Panama Papers case involving assets owned by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s family, officials said yesterday.

According to a case list announced by the court, the judgment will be given at 2 pm tomorrow — eight weeks after a five-judge bench reserved verdict on February 23.

The case was initiated on petitions filed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan, Jamaat-e-Islami head Sirajul Haq and Shaikh Rashid Ahmad, chief of his Muslim League faction.
