Ajay Devgn not angry with Kapil Sharma

Actor Ajay Devgn on Tuesday refuted claims that he walked out from the sets of in anger, saying that he is not upset with Kapil Sharma.

There were rumours that Devgn, who went to the show’s set to promote his forthcoming project Baadshaho recently, left without shooting as Sharma didn’t turn up. Some reports said Sharma was partying until the wee hours, and wasn’t able to wake up on time to make it to the shoot.

Devgn admitted that he left the sets because Sharma hadn’t arrived, but said he doesn’t know the reason behind the comedian’s absence from the shoot that day.

The actor said that Sharma has been dealing with health issues for quite some time now, but is not certain whether that was the reason behind his absence.

During his promotional visit to Delhi on Tuesday, Devgn cleared the air, and said that media is the reason behind most of the buzz around the story.

Asked to explain the situation, Devgn said: “Many shows have got cancelled in the past. And he is not keeping well for quite sometime... I don’t know what happened.”

“We left because he hadn’t reached... When I will talk to him next, I will get to know the reason,” he added.

On being questioned about his alleged vow to not return on the show, Devgn said that he never made the statement. “Shah Rukh Khan has also not said anywhere that he will never come on the show, and neither have I. It has been given by you guys [signalling at the media at the event].” Devgn also said he has no complaints. “We are colleagues... Everyone is doing good work here. We will meet with love when we meet next,” he said. —IANS
