Sharjah charity pays off debts of 22 prisoners

Sharjah Charity Association donated Dh742,451 to Sharjah Punitive and Rehabilitation Establishments to settle the debts of 22 prisoners. The donation aims to help release the prisoners, who were serving jail terms in financial cases, in order to support them and their families to overcome dire living conditions.

Lt-Colonel Abdullah Ebrahim Hassan, deputy director of the establishment, who met with a delegation from the association, thanked the association for its charitable work. (Staff Report)
