Departments hold meeting on building safety

The

Abu Dhabi Civil Defence and the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority held a meeting to discuss means to enhance cooperation and exchange experiences in the field of licensing, protection requirements and the general safety of buildings.

During the joint meeting, the two authorities discussed several issues of mutual interest to enhance efforts in the field of protection, prevention and public safety. They also discussed the terms of reference for the General Directorate of Civil Defence while issuing permits and licences to buildings. (WAM)
