One killed, two others injured in Swat blast

man was killed and two others were critically injured in a remotely-detonated explosion in Swat Valley yesterday.

Law enforcement personnel said the blast targeted an Amn Council member Ahmad Zeb in the Ghat area of Malam Jabba. Zeb was targeted when he was in his car with his father and two other people en route to Mingora from his home.

Zeb’s father was killed and two others were seriously wounded from the attack, officials said. The injured were moved to a nearby hospital. (Online)
