Al Mansouri gets UAE Business Personality of the Year award
Second edition of the Swiss Business Council Abu Dhabi annual award was held in the capital
Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy, was awarded the UAE Business Personality of the Year 2017 by the Swiss Business Council Abu Dhabi at the second Swiss Business Council Awards.
Franco Vigliotti, EPFL Presidency and Dean of EPFL Middle East, was chosen the Swiss Business Personality of the Year 2017, said a press release issued by the council.
The council is giving the award under the patronage of the Embassy of Switzerland in the UAE. IWC Schaffhausen, the Swiss luxury watch manufacturer, presented the awards recognising one Swiss and one UAE personality of the year.
A panel of judges carefully selected the two awardees of the “SBC Award 2017”. Maya Tissafi, Swiss Ambassador to the UAE; Chris Watts, Consul General and Director of the Swiss Business Hub; Peter Harradine, President of the Swiss Business Council Dubai and Northern Emirates; Luc Rocherau, IWC Reginal Brand Director; and Jean-Marc Suter, President of the Swiss Business Council Abu Dhabi, were part of the committee.
The awardees were honoured at an award ceremony held at the Rosewood Hotel in Abu Dhabi on October 12, in the presence of Jürg Stahl, President of the Swiss National Council, Maya Tissafi, Chris Watts and Jean-Marc Suter.
