IBS Software wins Etihad contract
Carrier to use IBS iCargo system to automate its networkwide bookings
Etihad Airways will be implementing new cargo management solutions after the carrier awarded a multiyear contract to IBS Software.
The deal will allow Etihad to use the IBS iCargo system for air cargo sales and operations worldwide, automating its network-wide booking, pricing and capacity management with revenue management evaluation capabilities.
Etihad said using iCargo will enable it to be available to its customers 24 hours a day through an integrated online booking portal. iCargo will also perform real-time shipment status monitoring as shipments traverse Etihad’s network.
