UAE-Korean Friendship Committee praises country’s support to people of determination
The UAE-Korean Friendship Committee Board of Directors has praised the country’s support to people of determination and elderly patients, via programmes aimed at improving their lives.
This statement was made during a visit by a delegation from the committee to the Al Madeef Centre in Al Mafraq, Abu Dhabi, which provides medical, nursing, treatment and rehabilitation services to visiting and resident elderly patients.
The delegation spoke with several people at the centre.
This visit by the delegation was part of the UAE-Korean Friendship Committee’s initiative to establish a sustainable friendship with the patients, ease their suffering, make them happy, as well as remind individuals on the importance of visiting patients.
The committee hailed keenness of government to open social the institutions and health care centres and improve the lives people of determination and elderly members of society.
They also praised the significant role of the Zayed Higher Organisation for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs which assists shelter centres in Al Mafraq city.
The delegation was briefed on the organisation’s efforts to establish centres outside of Abu Dhabi that provide services to those in need, as part of its policy and best international standards, as per the wise leadership’s directives.
