22 workers injured in bus accident in Dubai

One killed, eight hurt in three other accidents in the past two days

the accident is not known, some paramedics told NMC Hospital that the bus could have collided with the road divider. One worker with serious injuries was transferred to Rashid Hospital, while the rest were admitted to private hospitals including NMC Hospital Jebel Ali, Saudi-German Hospital, and Al Zahra Hospital.

Other traffic accidents

Meanwhile, one person was killed and eight others injured in three traffic accidents in the past two days in Dubai, police said yesterday.

Brigadier Saif Muhair Al Mazroui, director of the Traffic Department, said a motorist died and another suffered serious injuries when two vehicles collided in Al Aweer area. The second accident involving six vehicles occurred on Cairo Road in which five persons suffered minor injuries. Two persons were injured in the third accident that involved four vehicles on Dubai-Al Ain Road near Nad Al Sheba.
