Weather to be humid with chance of some rain

The UAE will have fair and partly cloudy to cloudy weather with brief showers in some areas this weekend.

Today will have fair to partly cloudy weather in general, with the cloudiness increasing at times over some northern areas and islands, according to the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS).

The southeasterly to easterly becoming northeasterly to northwesterly winds will be light to moderate during daytime, with speeds of 10-20km/h reaching 35km/h.

The cloudinees may increase tomorrow, bringing showers by evening and Sunday morning over the eastern and northern parts and islands such as Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah.

Relative humidity is expected to increase by evening, reaching 87 to 88 per cent in Dubai and Sharjah, and 94 per cent in Abu Dhabi today, and humidity levels almost reaching 100 per cent in Sharjah tomorrow evening.

Drivers will need to be cautious while on the roads as fog or mist may form due to the high humidity levels over some internal areas.

The Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea will be slight to moderate today.
