Emirates National claim crown

The Emirates National School (ENS), Sharjah blanked the New Indian Model School (NIMS), Dubai to claim the boy’s under-19 crown at the CBSE Cluster Volleyball Tournament that was held at the Pace International School, Sharjah over the weekend.

With Mohammad Zamrud dominating with his lethal jump spike serve and timely blocks, there was very little the NIMS lads could do as ENS walked away with the title with an emphatic 25-11, 25-18, 25-11 win.

The victory means that the ENS team will now represent the UAE for the third time at the CBSE National Games.

In the girls under-19 final, Delhi Private School, Dubai got the better of their counterparts from Sharjah, while Gulf Asian School, Sharjah defeated Our Own English School, Dubai for the girls under-17 crown.
