Singer Lea Makhoul to open for Jennifer Lopez

Lebanese singer Lea Makhoul will open for international icon Jennifer Lopez when she performs in Dubai on Friday at the Autism Rocks Arena.

Makhoul is best known for her time as a contestant and runner up on TV series Star Academy Arabic in 2014. Since then, she’s had three hit singles including her debut Give Me Sunlight, which reached NRJ Lebanon’s top 20 for over five weeks.

Makhoul is part of the Red Bull Opening Acts (RBOA) initiative that started in the UAE in 2013, which provides artists from the UAE and the wider Arab world a chance to perform ahead of some of the world’s biggest acts.

Following Lopez’s performance, Lebanese DJ and founder of radio station Mix FM, DJ Rodge will keep the party going.
