Sharjah Islamic Bank ties up with SunTec on VAT

Partnershi­p aims at managing VAT for customers of the bank through Xelerate

Sharjah Islamic Bank has partnered with SunTec to manage VAT for its customers with Xelerate to integrate into existing IT landscape for seamless implementa­tion.

SunTec recently announced its partnershi­p with SIB, the national bank of Sharjah. SunTec will facilitate in computing and invoicing of the newly introduced Value Added Tax for SIB in the Gulf region.

Mohammad Abdullah, Chief Executive Officer of Sharjah Islamic Bank, said: “It is crucial for us to be ready and transparen­t in the way we tax our customers”.
