Ditching your car for a day in Dubai can give you a chance to win an iPad or an Apple Watch among other gifts.

Participants of Dubai’s Car Free Day on Sunday stand a chance to win valuable prizes in a social media content launched by Dubai Municipality.

Khalid Badri, director of Corporate Marketing and Relations, told Gulf News that the civic body has launched the contest to encourage more people to participate in the annual drive aimed at creating awareness about environmental pollution caused by vehicles.

The municipality has announced gifts like iPad Mini 5, Apple Watch and coupons for other valuable gifts.

Car Free Day participants have to first register their details on the website of the municipality www.dm.gov. ae

Three winners will be selected through a draw.
