Mohammad invites Emirati mocked on air to Cabinet meet
His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has invited the Emirati man who was insulted on a radio talk show for complaining about price increases to attend a Cabinet meeting today.
Shaikh Mohammad tweeted yesterday calling on Ali Al Mazroui from Ras Al Khaimah to attend the Cabinet meeting during a review by the Minister of Social Development of the assistance scheme for low-income people in the UAE.
On April 2, Shaikh Mohammad ordered the Minister of Community Development to provide all needs of the Emirati citizen who contacted Ajman Radio’s live programme Al Rabia Wal Nas.
Urgent report
Shaikh Mohammad ordered the ministry to meet all the requirements of a decent living of the caller and his family within the next 24 hours, and to submit an urgent report to his office.
He also instructed Hessa Bint Eisa Bu Humaid, Minister of Community Development, to present a detailed and urgent report at the next Cabinet meeting on all needs of citizens with low incomes and present a clear plan in this regard.
