Worker’s suicide turns out to be murder

Suspect tried to mislead police by tampering with crime scene

Investigation by the Ras Al Khaimah Police has revealed that the death of an Arab worker which was first reported as a suicide was actually a case of murder. Colonel Abdullah Al Munkis, director of the Criminal Investigation Department, said the police identified and arrested the suspect after the body was found with a poisonous substance around the mouth at a farm on Friday to make it appear as a suicide.

The arrested Arab suspect, who lived with the victim, confessed he killed the latter because he spoke badly of him.
