Call to help people with special needs

Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Shaikh Aftab Ahmad yesterday said collective efforts are required to help persons with special needs. Addressing the annual prize distribution ceremony at Government Razia Sultana School for Blind, the minister said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government was taking concrete steps for the education of children with special needs. Special centres had been established for the children, including the blind, where they were being provided all the facilities free of charge, besides a monthly stipend, he added.
