Red Crescent gives Dh2.94m for medical aid

The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) has provided Dh2.94 million to help low-income people receive urgent medical assistance, as part of the ‘Year of Zayed’.

Rashid Mubarak Al Mansouri, Deputy Secretary-General for Local Affairs at ERC, said that the organisati­on is working to reach a wider segment of people including underprivi­leged families, widows, and orphans suffering from serious health problems and incurable diseases. The organisati­on provided financial assistance to 29 people for treatment.
