Amanat ups dividend payout by Dh11.4m

Amanat

said yesterday it plans to increase its dividend payout by Dh11.4 million following requests from their shareholders at its annual general meeting.

The total dividend payout will now be 1.956 fils per share compared to the earlier 1.5 fils, the company said in a statement.

The extra dividend will be paid from the retained earnings of Dh5.7 million.

“We are pleased to increase our total dividends payout,” Hamad Abdullah Al Shamsi, Chairman of Amanat, said in a statement. (Staff Report)
