UAE, Iraq sign pact to restore historic mosque
Noora Mohammad Al Kaabi, UAE Minister of Cultural and Knowledge Development, and Iraqi Minister of Culture Firyad Rawanduzi during a visit to the Iraqi National Museum in Baghdad yesterday after signing an agreement to restore the Al Nouri Mosque and its Al Hadba minaret in Mosul city with financial support amounting to $50.4 million. The mosque and its ancient leaning minaret were blown up by Daesh terrorists in June 2017.
