Safety violations at construction sites noted

total of 67 violations and 53 warnings have recently been issued by municipal authorities in the capital to construction consultants and contractors who failed to comply with the applicable health and safety requirements, the Abu Dhabi City Municipality announced in a statement issued yesterday.

The violations were detected by the municipality officials during a three-day inspection of construction sites in Abu Dhabi island, Reem Island, Al Raha Beach, Yas Island, Al Saadiyat Island, Khalifa City, Shakhbout City and Mohammad Bin Zayed City. (Staff Report)
