Drone cameras banned at events

On the direction of Home Department Punjab, the district administration has imposed a ban on the coverage of all kinds of functions including sports activities with drone cameras, remote controlled model aircraft, unmanned aircraft system, flying cameras, quad-copters and helicams & balloons. The ban which takes effect immediately was imposed under section 144 of Criminal Procedure Code and it will remain effective till further orders, a spokesman of local administration said yesterday.
