FAB appoints new CEO for UK operations

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) has appointed Paul Hartwell as Chief Executive Officer of the bank’s operations in the United Kingdom.

In a statement yesterday, the bank said Hartwell has over 30 years of experience and held positions including CEO of British Arab Commercial Bank, CEO of Mitsubishi UFJ Securities and Chief Risk Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Standard Bank, Barclays and West LB. Abdul Hamid Saeed, Group CEO of FAB touted Hartwell’s “vast experience” in banking. (Staff Report)
