BTS make Middle East record

BTS may have taken over the American music market, but they are also making their mark in the Middle East. The record-breaking boy group have reached more than 25 million plays on Anghami, making them the only Korean pop act to do so on Mena’s largest music streaming service. While they continuously top the Billboard charts and break records in their hometown, the K-pop superstars’ new album has also dominated the local iTunes chart.

The septet’s latest full-length album Love Yourself: Tear topped the UAE iTunes Top Album chart all of last week. Their Korean hit track Fake Love not only claimed the top spot on the iTunes’ Top Songs chart, but is also being played on local radio stations.
