Coalition jets target Al Houthi positions along Red Sea coast
MORE THAN 80 MILITIAMEN KILLED IN OPERATIONS IN HODEIDA AND SAADA PROVINCES
Backed by the UAE Armed Forces, the Saudi-led coalition’s fighter jets bombarded positions of the Al Houthi militia east of Hais, north of Zubaid, west of Bait Al Faqih and Al Hosaynia areas on Yemen’s Red Sea Coast, dismantling their bastions and reinforcements in precise attacks that inflicted heavy damage on the coup perpetrators, with militiamen fleeing the battlefronts en masse.
Also, according to field sources, the Joint Yemeni Resistance forces foiled an infiltration attempt by Al Houthis west of Bait Al Faqih towards Al Jah area, where the militiamen are suffering heavy losses.
In addition, 43 Al Houthis were killed in raids by coalition jets and in clashes with Yemeni forces across Hodeida.
The Yemeni resistance secured the coastline from Al Khokha up to Al Durihami area, south of Hodeida, in the buildup for liberating the strategic city.
The coalition forces have inflicted huge losses on the militiamen in Yemen’s Saada province. At least 44 Al Houthis were killed in the last 24 hours, and 46 items of military equipment and arms were destroyed.
Yemen’s legitimate government forces supported by the coalition have made progress on the battlefield in recent days in both Al Jawf and the Saada governorate, as the Al Houthis suffer a continuing collapse in their ranks in their major stronghold of Saada.
In Taiz, Yemeni government forces have advanced towards the west of the city, taking control of Al Safra, Al Jubaira, Al Machbak and other locations overlooking the Al Ramadah link between the governorates of Taiz and Hodeida. The army also took control of new positions in the strategic Jabal Abu Al Nar after a major retreat by the Al Houthis.
Missiles towards Najran
Meanwhile, Arab coalition spokesman Colonel Turki Al Maliki has said Royal Saudi Air Force monitored two ballistic missiles launched by the Iran-backed Al Houthi militias on Friday.
In a statement, Al Maliki explained the two missiles were launched from Yemen’s Saada Province towards the kingdom, the Saudi Press Agency reported. He added that one of the missiles fell in Yemeni territory while the second landed in an unpopulated desert area. There were no injuries or damage, Al Maliki said.
He said the two missiles were launched towards Najran in a deliberate attempt to inflict harm by targeting civilian areas. He described these acts as evidence of the Iranian regime’s continued support for Al Houthis. These acts are a flagrant violation of UN Resolutions 2216 and 2231, and aim to threaten the safety and security of Saudi Arabia, as well as regional and international security and stability.
