Eid holiday timings

Some government department­s will work shorter hours during the Eid Al Fitr holiday while some public transport services, malls and restaurant­s will be open late.

BUSES Dubai

Al Ghubaiba Bus Station: Inter-city buses to Sharjah will operate round-the-clock during the Eid holiday while buses to Abu Dhabi will operate between 4.40am to 1.05am.

Union Square: 5am to 12.35am

Al Sabkha: 6.30am to 12.30am

Deira City Centre: 6.55am to 10.34pm Karama: 7am to 10.10pm

Al Ahli Club: 7am to 11pm

Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi City: 5am to midnight from tomorrow to the third day of Eid

Al Ain: Usual weekend timings

Al Dhafra: 6am to 9.35pm inside the city and 5.10am to 10pm outside the city. Buses connecting towns in Al Dhafra will run between 5.10am to 8.30pm

DUBAI METRO AND TRAM

Metro will run till 2am and tram will run till 1am from tomorrow to Monday.

VISA SERVICES

Dubai: The General Directorat­e of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA)’s Al Manara, Hatta and Al Twar centres will be open from 9am to 1pm on Thursday and Sunday.

The GDRFA office at Dubai Internatio­nal Airport at Terminal 3 will remain open 24 hours all through the week.

Abu Dhabi: The General Department of Residency and Foreign Affairs branch at Abu Dhabi Internatio­nal Airport will operate 24 hours during the Eid holiday.

MALLS

Retail stores at Majid Al Futtaim malls will operate till 1am while restaurant­s will be open till 2am. Restaurant­s and shops at Dubai Mall will be open till 2am.

PARKING

Dubai and Abu Dhabi: Free from tomorrow till the third of Shawwal or the third day of Eid. Paid parking will resume on the 4th of Shawwal, which is likely to be Monday.

Sharjah: Free from tomorrow till Sunday except on Al Hison Road (Bank complex), Corniche Road, Bird Market in Al Jubail, Central Souq in Al Majaz 1 and Buhairah Corniche – Majaz 1,2,3

Other emirates

Al Ta’awun station in Sharjah: 5.30am to 10.30pm

Fujairah: 5:30am to 9.30pm Ajman: 5am to 11.30pm

Hatta: 6.29am to 10.35pm

MARINE SERVICES

Water buses, taxis, ferries and abras will operate normally.

HEALTH

Emergency department­s of all Dubai Health Authority (DHA) hospitals Rashid, Latifa, Dubai and Hatta will operate round-the-clock. Primary health centres: Al Barsha, Nad Al Hamar and Seniors’ Happiness Centre will function 24 hours on all days. Al Lusaily centre will be open from 8am to 3pm on June 17. All other centres will be closed during the public holiday. Medical Fitness Centers will be closed from tomorrow to Sunday.
