Cleaner jailed for filming boys nude at spring camp

Acleaner has been jailed for three months for filming two brothers naked in the changing room after their swimming lesson during the school’s spring camp.

In March, the brothers, ages 7 and 9, were swimming in the pool as part of a spring camp and when they finished, they went to the washroom to shower and change.

As soon as they removed their dress, the Nigerian cleaner, 23, walked into the washroom on the pretext of cleaning the place.

The 9-year-old boy heard the clicking of camera in the washroom and confronted the cleaner asking him if he had filmed them, the cleaner denied and walked out.

The boy told his school instructor what had happened. Police arrested the defendant shortly after the brothers’ mother reported the matter.

The Dubai Court of First Instance convicted the Nigerian for outraging the modesty of the brothers when he secretly filmed them naked in the shower at the school in Al Barsha.

Police found a video recording of 1.50 minutes duration of the brothers in the shower and five photos.

According to the ruling, the accused will be deported after serving his term.
