New decisions to boost food standards

His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has issued Cabinet resolutions No. 29 and 30 on the UAE regulatory system for the monitoring of milk and dairy products and another on the monitoring of juices and beverages. Decision No. 29 stipulates that suppliers shall only deal with registered and licensed firms or enterprises. Resolution No. 30 prohibits all UAE outlets from the sale or promotion of any product not registered with Emirates Conformity Assessment System.
